anime100.com?
This
site was created to help fuse all the anime sites out there
either big or small into one easy portal site. This ideal
was spawned after actually trying to look for some of our
favorite anime on the web, we found a lot of stuff out there
but it was cumbersome reaching them. Plus the fact that a
lot of sites out there just didn't get the exposure they deserved.
Who's
behind this?
Well
we're just your average guys who grew up with Anime. Our first
exposure would probably have been the earlier mech animes
which we couldn't even recall their names because we were
so young! But we just remember how cool it was compared to
other cartoons! Back then anime wasn't as popular so finding
these things was like scavenging for water in the desert :P
but eventually we found some buddies who had stuff like Fist
of the North Star and City Hunter (still one of our faves!),
and we just felt so captivated watching all these. We have
to admit anime has come a long way… We used to be ridiculed
back in high school by our art teachers because of our heavy
influences from anime. But we didn't really care… because
now anime is taking the world by storm and we're planning
to take it even further.
What
does the future hold for anime100.com?
What we envision is not just a site but also an entire anime/manga
community. Right now it's merely in its early stages. We'll
be constantly improving and evolving the site so check back
frequently. What it becomes no one knows, but with everyone's
support the future looks extremely bright. Please feel free
